Foghat formed in London, England in 1971 and over the course of their elaborate career, they have achieved eight gold records, one platinum, and one double platinum record. Since the release of their self-titled debut album, the band has become a worldwide rock and roll sensation; and they continue to release new albums, securing a place in the hearts of fans, new and loyal. Foghat fans can be found everywhere around the globe, from all walks of life and all ages. Just turn on the hit single, shout “Slow Ride”, and hear a crowd of fans belt back “take it easy”. Their music is truly timeless. 

The band may be English born, but their three-cord, straightforward, slide guitar, blues-rock sound is as American as it gets. Performing live shows with incredible energy and musicianship is in their DNA and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. According to lead singer Charlie Huhn, “the band just wants to make sure that after every show, they are all convinced that they just got rocked, from the second we start the first song to the end of the show”. Though they have experienced ups, downs, and losses, Foghat has never stopped touring and recording; fortifying their musical legacy and remaining one of the most recognizable groups in rock history.
